Laura recently graduated from the University of Southern California with her Masters in Fine Arts in Interactive Media and Games. She previously graduated from the University of Washington with her BS in Human Centered Design and Engineering. Her interests lie within installation design, physical interactive experiences and tech accessibility.
Blossom is Laura's MFA thesis but also a personal passion project. She has always loved pop-up books and Blossom was her opportunity to share a semi-autobiographical story about her life through an interactive medium she has never explored before, alternative controllers.

Marielle Brady is currently completing a Master’s of Fine Arts in Interactive Media and Games (with a concentration in Games and Health) at the University of Southern California. She previously received her BA in biology (with a concentration in neuroscience) from Dartmouth College. As an interdisciplinary designer, her work weaves together game design principles with neuropsychology to create new ways of thinking about our mental health.
Marielle was drawn to Blossom’s story and unique medium as an opportunity to explore how the influences around us impact our lives. She’s greatly enjoyed working with the team to create an experience that depicts mental health challenges and hopes in a poignant and authentic way.
Joh is currently in her last semester at USC pursuing a BS in Music Industry with a Music Production minor and focus in Music Composition. Starting off as a pianist and orchestral percussionist, Joh has immersed herself in a wide range of musical styles and forms from a young age. Her many years in various chamber groups, wind ensembles, and marching bands cultivated her musical instincts and intellect. She also loved video games as a child, and is thrilled to start working in game audio and music. Some of her favorite games are Pokemon Platinum, Cuphead, and Little Nightmares II.
Blossom is one of Joh's first games that she was blessed with the opportunity to work on. She was especially intrigued and adored the physical installation aspect of Blossom and wanted to help elevate the game's profound, intimate narrative through music.

She is also completely in awe of the incredible creativity and ingenuity of her teammates in designing such a unique controller and can't wait for others to see and experience it.
Julia is a sophomore at the University of Southern California majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Immersive Media. Growing up with a passion for art and puzzles, she enjoys working with different types of interactive technology and is interested in developing and exploring technology as a medium for storytelling, creativity, and expression.
Being able to work on Blossom has been amazing! Finding pieces of herself reflected in Aspen’s story, Julia has loved being able to contribute to the engineering of Blossom through her background in art, design, and game and hardware programming. She can’t wait for people to meet Aspen and experience Blossom!
